Holiday Ads 2026: What Shops Are Running Before Black Friday

Holiday ads in late October 2026 fall into four patterns: a free gift on top of a discount, an early-shopping code, a "gift for…" line that sells the feeling of giving, and a creator-style gift guide. We found all four in the public Meta Ad Library (US) and TikTok's Top Ads list on 27–28 October 2026.

Short answer

• Black Friday sale ads keep the advertiser's normal ad and swap two lines: the opener and the offer. Example: Team K9's "🚨 BLACK FRIDAY STARTS NOW!" ad started on 20 Nov 2025 and was still live on 27 Oct 2026. Full list and copy templates: Black Friday ad copy.

The four patterns we saw

1. Discount + free gift – "70% OFF + FREE Gift!" (Muddy Mat, Meta, live since May 2026).
2. Early code – "Shop Early & Save 10%" with code XMAS2026 (GyftWear, TikTok Top Ads).
3. The gift line – "The most sentimental gift for your loved ones" (PaintYourLife, TikTok Top Ads, no price in the ad).
4. Gift guide – "Top 4 Ride On Cars this Christmas!" (a TikTok Shop creator).

How we check

Every day we collect product ads from the public ad libraries and keep the ones still live. For Meta ads the number of days live runs from the ad's start date to our last check; TikTok's list shows likes and click-through rate instead. We quote only the first line and the offer and link to the original ad – the video, music and brand belong to the advertiser.
