Skincare Ads: Real Examples That Keep Running
The skincare ads that keep running open with the reader's problem or a story, not the product name. Below are 8 of the 65 skincare ads we track in the Meta Ad Library (US), each live for 147 to 286 days, with the hook, offer and structure pulled out. Updated 28 Oct 2026.
Skincare ads live for 5+ months

- DoveMeta286 days live
“To the girls that sweat it, we get it and we've got you.”
Offer: New product launch
Button: Shop now
Structure: Speak to one group ('the girls that sweat it') → the upgrade (96-hour protection) → 'loves your skin back'
Nine Dove skincare ads were live in our check. Even a big brand opens by naming who the ad is for before it names the product.

“If your skin feels tight, flaky, or itchy no matter what you use — this is for you.”
Offer: 20% off for first-timers, code SERUM20
Structure: 'If your skin…' pain → how it is made (7 ingredients, small batch) → first-order code
The first line lets the right reader recognise themselves; the code is only for first orders, so it does not train existing customers to wait for a sale.

“Two weeks ago, someone at the gym asked if I'd gotten Botox.”
Structure: First-person story → short ingredient list (four ingredients) → what is not in it
A long, first-person story ad that has run for 251 days: the hook is a scene, not a product claim.
Live since 2026-02-18See it in the ad library ↗ - Earthly DermMeta151 days live2 versions
“"I spent 10+ years trying everything."”
Structure: Customer quote as the hook → week-by-week result in her words → 'here's why we keep selling out'
The whole first half is a named customer's review; the brand only speaks after it.

“Our Hydrocolloid Roll is skincare freedom.”
Offer: Buy 1 Get 1 Free + review count in the headline
Button: Shop now
Structure: New format (a roll instead of patches) → three ✨ benefits → BOGO + stars in the headline
The offer and the review count sit in the headline under the video, where people look before they tap.
Live since 2026-02-23See it in the ad library ↗ - Korean Skincare ReviewsMeta265 days live3 versions
“A needle-free lift in a bottle ✅”
Structure: One-line promise → three result words (firmness, fullness, bounce) – nothing else
The shortest ad in the list: one line and the video. Three versions ran side by side, a cheap way to test openers.
Live since 2026-02-04See it in the ad library ↗ - CLn Skin CareMeta188 days live
“Ditch the clutter with a simple … cleanser + moisturizer routine”
Button: Shop now
Structure: Problem = too many products → a 2-step routine → headline 'Simplify Your Skincare'
Sells fewer steps instead of a new ingredient – a different angle from most skincare ads.
Live since 2026-04-22See it in the ad library ↗ - StriVectinMeta147 days live
“Visibly tighten, lift and smooth horizontal neck lines”
Button: Learn more
Structure: One body area (neck) → three verbs → product name
Narrow beats broad: the ad picks one area of the body instead of 'anti-ageing'.

What these skincare ads have in common
We track 65 skincare ads in the US Meta Ad Library – all of them live for 30 days or more. The 8 above are long runners picked to show different ways to open the ad. They open in one of three ways: the reader's problem ('If your skin feels tight, flaky, or itchy…'), a first-person story or customer quote, or one narrow promise (one body area, one format). The offer, when there is one, sits at the end or in the headline under the video. Making a vertical ad? Crop any photo to 9x16 for free (1080×1920).

How we pick skincare ads
Every day we collect product ads from the public Meta Ad Library (US) and record when each ad started and when we last saw it live; this list was checked on 27 Oct 2026. Advertisers rarely keep paying for an ad that does not sell, so we list the long runners. We quote the first line and the offer only and link to the original – the video, music and brand stay the advertiser's. Claims in the quotes are the advertisers' own, not ours. See also Black Friday ad copy and the full ad examples library.
What we found on 27 Oct 2026

We checked every ad on this page in the public ad libraries on 2026-10-27; the date at the top shows the last update. The first chart shows how long each Meta ad had been live on that day, the second our breakdown of the first ad in the list into its parts.

Skincare ad rules to know before you copy
Meta and TikTok restrict before/after pictures and claims that sound medical (curing eczema, acne treatment) in skincare ads. The templates above avoid health claims on purpose; keep your own copy to what your product can show. For seasonal skincare offers, see Christmas Facebook ads.
Make the video for a skincare ad
Every ad here is a video ad. If you have the product but no footage, the AI ad maker turns one product photo into a vertical 15-second ad – opening soon.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before generating your video.
What makes a good skincare ad?▼
In the long-running ads we track, the first line is the reader's problem, a story or one narrow promise – not the brand name. The offer comes last.
Where can I see skincare ads that are running now?▼
In the public Meta Ad Library: search a brand or keyword, filter by country and 'active'. Each card on this page links to its ad there.
How long have these skincare ads been running?▼
Between 147 and 286 days as of our check on 27 Oct 2026.
Can I copy a skincare ad?▼
Copy the structure with your own product, photos and claims. The original video, music and wording belong to the advertiser.
Can skincare ads show before and after photos?▼
Ad platforms restrict them, especially for anything that sounds medical. Check the platform's policy for your product before you run one.
