How to use these pet toy ad examples

This page lists pet toy ads for toys, scratchers and play products for cats and dogs. Run time is the filter: advertisers pay for every day an ad runs, so an ad that has been live for weeks usually earns its cost. It is a hint, not proof – the Meta Ad Library shows no sales or spend for ordinary product ads.

  1. 1

    Open the longest runners

Start with the examples at the top of this page – an ad that is still paid for after months is the closest public sign that it works.

  2. 2

    Write down the structure

For each ad note the hook (first second), what the product does on screen, the proof and the offer.

  3. 3

    Remake it with your product

Keep the structure, change everything else: your product, your footage, your words.

What the numbers say about pet toy ads

Of the 40 pet toy ads in the library, 18 ran 90 days or longer and 2 ran a year or longer. The chart above shows the full spread.

The category label is how we filed each ad while collecting; an ad found under a pet toy search can be only loosely related, so read the examples rather than relying on the count alone.

What to look for in a pet toy ad

Look for the pet's reaction in the first second – the toy is judged by how the animal plays, not by a spec list.

Four questions for every example: what is the hook, what does the product do on screen, what is the proof, and what is the offer?

Remake the structure with your own product

Copy the structure, never the footage, music or brand. If you want to see how we pick winners, read how to find winning ads in the Meta Ad Library. To turn your own product photo into a vertical video ad in a chosen structure, see the AI ad maker – opening soon.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a proven pet toy ad here?

An ad that was still running in the Meta Ad Library at least 30 days after it started. Longer runs are listed first.

Where do these ads come from?

From the public Meta Ad Library (US). We keep the advertiser, start date, run time and a short copy excerpt, and link to the original listing. We do not copy the video.

Does a long run time mean the ad sells?

Not always. It means the advertiser kept paying for it, which is the best public sign available, but sales and spend are not shown for ordinary product ads.

Can I copy one of these ads?

You can reuse the structure – the order of hook, demo, proof and offer. The footage, music, text and brand belong to the original advertiser.
