How to use these skincare ad examples
This page lists skincare ads for serums, creams and treatments for skin concerns. Run time is the filter: advertisers pay for every day an ad runs, so an ad that has been live for weeks usually earns its cost. It is a hint, not proof – the Meta Ad Library shows no sales or spend for ordinary product ads. Skincare is the largest group in our beauty ads set; for the other group with enough ads see body care ad examples.
- 1
Open the longest runners
Start with the examples at the top of this page – an ad that is still paid for after months is the closest public sign that it works.
- 2
Write down the structure
For each ad note the hook (first second), what the product does on screen, the proof and the offer.
- 3
Remake it with your product
Keep the structure, change everything else: your product, your footage, your words.
What the numbers say about skincare ads
Of the 65 skincare ads in the library, 32 ran 90 days or longer and 2 ran a year or longer. The chart above shows the full spread.
The category label is how we filed each ad while collecting; an ad found under a skincare search can be only loosely related, so read the examples rather than relying on the count alone.
Three ways the long-running skincare ads open
Looking at the longest runners in this category (checked 27 Oct 2026), the first line does one of three jobs. The reader's problem: Beauty From Bees (281 days) opens with 'If your skin feels tight, flaky, or itchy no matter what you use — this is for you.' A story or a customer quote: Bare Ritual (251 days) opens with 'Two weeks ago, someone at the gym asked if I'd gotten Botox.' and Earthly Derm (151 days) with a named customer's review. One narrow promise: Korean Skincare Reviews (265 days) says 'A needle-free lift in a bottle ✅' and nothing else; StriVectin (147 days) picks one area, the neck.
Even big brands name who the ad is for first: Dove (286 days) starts 'To the girls that sweat it, we get it and we've got you.' See how we pick winning ads for the method.
What to look for in a skincare ad
Look for the concern named in the hook (dark spots, dryness, breakouts) and the proof – a testimonial, a texture shot, a routine.
Four questions for every example: what is the hook, what does the product do on screen, what is the proof, and what is the offer?
5 skincare ad copy templates
Each template follows the order of one real ad above. Fill the brackets with your own product, ingredients and offer – only claims you can back up.

Skincare ad rules to know before you copy
Ad platforms can restrict before and after pictures and claims that sound medical (curing eczema, acne treatment), so the templates avoid health claims on purpose. Check the current policy of the platform you advertise on and keep your copy to what your product can show. For seasonal skincare offers see Christmas Facebook ads; for the urgency wording many of these ads use see scarcity ads, and for comparison-style copy us vs them ads.
Remake the structure with your own product
Copy the structure, never the footage, music or brand. If you want to see how we pick winners, read how to find winning ads in the Meta Ad Library. To turn your own product photo into a vertical video ad in a chosen structure, see the AI ad maker – opening soon.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as a proven skincare ad here?
An ad that was still running in the Meta Ad Library at least 30 days after it started. Longer runs are listed first.
Where do these ads come from?
From the public Meta Ad Library (US). We keep the advertiser, start date, run time and a short copy excerpt, and link to the original listing. We do not copy the video.
Does a long run time mean the ad sells?
Not always. It means the advertiser kept paying for it, which is the best public sign available, but sales and spend are not shown for ordinary product ads.
Can I copy one of these ads?
You can reuse the structure – the order of hook, demo, proof and offer. The footage, music, text and brand belong to the original advertiser.
